Temporary shelter

I need to put my Ford 641, with bucket and blade, away for the winter. I don't have an inside space for it so I thought I'd look into an inexpensive temporary shelter to keep the snow and dust off it. The sun and wind at this altitude are very hard on fabrics so I hoped to find somewthing a little more solid, but not permanent.
It seems I've seen post on this forum mentioning this kind of shelter. Anyone BTDT?
Thanks

One issue of Farm Show had a guy using 2" plastic conduit, tee fittings, rebar and a silver tarp. Said even with a blue tarp it lasted 2 years out west. I have a lot of wind in the winter, but I'd love to try it.

I built one useing PVC pipe and rebar and a tarp. Works well and takes only about 15-20 minutes to put up or take down.

Teporary? I slapped this together 7 or 8 years ago to winter a restored 15-30. The 15-30 is long gone but the "shed" never sits empty.

Cowman. Are those wheels leaning against the shed off an F series Farmall?

Nope. They're H wheels. And I have an early style wide-front to go with them. That's supposed to be my next project but who knows, I've been working on putting parts together for several years and have already switched base tractors once.

Thanks Cowman, that shed brings back fond memories. Wish I could do that again. But I now live(not sure why) in a little town. If I duplicated your plans and built a archetechurly pleasing and structurly sound building as you so kindly posted they would burn a cross in my yard and I would be swinging from a live oak tree (the town council in this town has no appreciation of fine art).
I was kinda hoping someone would have done what I'm trying to do, against the incredible odds against which I'm facing, and give me some guidance.

It is a shame, that you cannot build a quick shed like that in many areas.. Anyone cane have a fancy structure built (If they can afford it), but it takes skill & imagination to build a shed from what you have... I always thought it was a mark of pride to be able to tell how little something cost.. Now folks want to brag about how MUCH it cost...

Options for these buildings are sides, back end, higher verticals, front with door, etc which put them well past $750 and where I live, permit is required. Naturally, the permit requires footers. Now the bill is really big.

Thanks again , Cowman, for taking the time. Home Depot has those here too. It seems a while back someone posted a shelter that had sides and was tighter. I go to Texas for the winter and am afraid someone might load this tractor up and haul it off. If they couldn't see it they'd be less likely to take it. Maybe I worry too much.
I plan to have a workshop built next year.

Looks good! For my sprayer I just finished raing an old hog building. It was only 4.5 feet high in the back before, now it's 10-12 feet depending on where you measure. Put fenceposts in for stilts. Used old garage door panels recovered from a landfill (free!) to fill in the sides to keep rain and snow out. Well, I sure think it's awful purty. The woman in the house doesn't think she wants another one though.

Cowman, something about your tractor don't look just right. Do your legs hurt after a long day in the field?
