My dealer friend made the mistake of throwin' me the keys to this ol' duffer.

According to the serial number, it is a '75 model and what's a feller to do? Couldn't find a blessed thing wrong with it other than it needs a cab seal, maybe a floor mat and a darned good waxin'.

All I can say is that it better pull that plow.....

Really great looking tractor Allan, but I notice something is really, really wrong, back shoes match... You messed up this time...:>)..:>) You need to find someone to switch one shoe with, then it would feel right at home...LMAO

Hey!!! I still don't see a pic of alfalfa field. Did all that liquid sunshine make all the alfalfa slide off into one of them buffalo wallers??? :>)

Allan

Did that old girl have a loader on her, or what's the hydraulics on the right fender for?

Hi John,

Yes, the thing came to town equipped with a really sweet 3200 DuAl quick tach loader, but I've got loaders running out my ears now and just didn't need it. (Not too wild about those front-hangers anyways)

So, they have to pull those fancy hydraulics and all the loader mounting hardware off before they can haul it out here. Should be here sometime next week, I'd imagine.

If it ever quits raining. :>)

Allan

I hear you about not complaining about rain. We got 2.6 inches last week and that was the first major rain this summer. Two things to show how dry it was. First, the grass went dormant early due to lack of moisture and I saw weeds start comimng up in my folk's yard. Before the rain, the weeds were showing signs of stress and curling up their leaves and turning brown. Second is the sisal twine on bales. I'm hauling hay now that was made in mid July. The sisal twine on the bottom hasn't rotted through yet. Alfala on some ridges in that field regrew only two inches high. You can see every individual plant and the rows they were planted in.

I hear ya,

Around here, if someone is overheard complaining about rain, they automatically lock him away in a padded room. Rain is money. :>)

We're the same way; all the moisture is coming in late this year. However, if I can beat the snow, should have a real good last cutting.

Same old problem tho, I fight the time factor. Might have to run two cutters and show the wife how nice those red tractors really are. :>)

Like money in the bank? YOU BET! Too late for this year, but it's a start for next year. Got to run, time to haul hay, feed the cows, then haul more hay.

Mornin Allan

Is there a dealer there in Chadron.

Didn't see it when I flashed thru but wasn't there long.

I bid on one of those day after I got home from Neb. at an auction.

Didn't know the history of the tractor at the time.

Knowing the history know I wish I would've went a little higher.

There a good old tractor.

Does the air work?

Gary

Hi Gary,

Yes, they are located clear out on the east side of town. We've been doing business with 'em since about 1950. They are one great outfit, just as honest as they come and they just bend over backwards to make sure you get what ya need.

I've got a pretty good mechanical eye and really looked this ol' devil over. It's got 'bout a million hours on it, but the nice part is that somebody else has already pumped a truckload of money in 'er and it is good to go from one end to the other as far as I can tell.

I knew it was a keeper just as soon as I hit that starter button. :>)
