I was wondering which tire to put on the front of my 48 La Case... 3 rib or 5 rib implement...I'm restoring it, and want to do some FUN plowing, hope to show it off...maybe a parade.. Any advice is alway welcome and I do APPRECIATED it... THANKS in ADVANCE....Mark

The 5 rib is more of a trailer tire isn't it ?? It never looks right on a steer axle.....

I've run 5 rib wagon tires on the front of a couple tractors. On grass they didn't do any damage while turning, but in the field they didn't turn fast enough to keep from running over crop while rotary hoeing. They were OK plowing with one in the furrow.

I like 4 rib, but 3 works.

I put five rib on my 10-20. A year later I replaced them with three rib. If I was pulling anything, it wouldn't turn with the five rib also, the five rib looked like crap.

I would go with the three rib for aauthenticity; 7.50-18.
