Bore da;
Well known M-M collector Ray Bailey of Ruabon in North Wales sold the last part of his M-M collection on 26th August 2006. Ray had collected M-M items for many years, some of which he imported from America. All were restored nicely.
Prices are in USS$ (conversion rate $1.85 to £1.00)
1959 M-M Four-Star $2,775
1955 Oliver 99 Super (GM 2 stroke diesel)$22,200 ? Oliver G1355 $24,050 ? M-M A4T 4wd $18,000
1971 M-M G1050 $11,100
1955 M-M UB Special $14,800

The EXTRA SPECIAL tractors were 2 WW2 imported M-M UT's which had been converted at the time with English built diesel engines, and are VERY RARE.

UTS fitted with 46HP Dorman diesel $18,500
UDM fitted with 66HP Meadows diesel $42,550

Ray also included in his sale a large number of M-M implements, models, books & brochures.
Cheers David

Hi Broken wrench;
Bore Da = goodmorning & Nos Da = goodnight in Welsh language.
Hopefully when the weather brightens up I will get some more photos taken. Not much being done now here, odd field of silage being cut & baled; and some muck (manure) spreading.
Cheers David

David,
I really enjoy your posts. It`s very interesting to see the different tractors and such that alot of us in the US probably wouldn`t even know existed. Keep up the great posts. BTW this may sound dumb but, what does "Bore da" mean? Brokenwrench
