I own a new holland 688 round baler that I do alot of custom baling with here in Iowa. I run a 4430 John Deere quad range with it now. It's really a pretty comfortable combination to me. Recently I was approached with a 566 John Deere baler that appears to be a good one. I am looking for a new tractor though. There are so many options out there for tractors! However, I kinda want to get something newer and a more comfortable cab. Keeping in mind that I really want to keep my expenses down because ive only been doing this since I was a freshman in highschool and now im a Junior. To run this baler, I have been looking at a Agco Allis 8610 or a 8630. They are both early 1990's. Does any body know how these tractors are? How are the hydrolics and PTO? Are they fairly comfortable to run? Do they turn pretty good and easy? Just looking for some help. Any is greatly appriciated. Thank you

I would stick with the Deere. I think you will find that Agco doesn't have the parts support that Deere has for one thing.
