Bore da;
Following my posting to Allan about the JD1020 he really should get; I remembered that I have 4 tractors sitting in storage 150 miles away where we used to live. We are renting until we find the house we want to buy, and will move them here then.
So until then I have to make do with looking at my photos to remind me of good times to come.
They are now covered in old blankets in this old cowshed, concrete floor, brick walls & tile roof with loads of ventilation to keep them dry.
Thanks guys for bearing with me on my nostalgia trip & photo.
Cheers David

Hi Dennis;
Its a late 1944 BR electric startin & lighting. 12x26 Goodyear rear tyres. Best thing is it is the high gear version, 2.5. 4.5, 6.5 & 9 mph.
Cheers David

David - My father bought his BR in 1944 (the year I was born). His was an all fuel hand start. When asked why he didn't get electic start and lights, his answer was "The day I have to start working day and night to farm, I'll quit!!" Boy, times sure have changed. Wish I still had that BR, traded for a TEA Fergie in 1954.

Yep; Ive got an off farm 1962 Fordson Super Major stored on another friends farm; and my 1954 KFD Orchard conversion Major is now parked next to the Deeres.
My model tractor collection is boxed up here in the house; not sure which of the 104 boxes they are in though - am I suffering from withdrawl symptoms !!!
