They where showing a pardade of tractors on classic tractors and there was a 1947 2N then the guy said the next tractor was a 1947 9N. The funny part is the fact that there is no 1947 9N that where ever made so its another one of them cases where the guy doesn't even know what tractor he has. I always get a good laugh out of that type of thing.

I wouldn't pick too big a fight over 2N or 9N Calling,Probely 90-95% of all 2Ns were sold as 9Ns when new.Dad had a late 1947 Ford-Ferguson that the Bill of sale said 9N on it(he bought it new in 1947).

That wasn't their only mistake. The showed a yellow and white square nosed cub and announced it as a 1943 Cub.

I wasn't sure I had heard it right on the cub, but I guess I did.

All the shows I have gone to the driver of the tractor holds a paper and then as he gets close someone picks it up from him and it goes to the guy talking. So in most cases the owner of the tractor is the one that doesn't know what he owns. Its sore of sad that it happens when there is so much info that can be had for little or no money
