Bore da;
You were all "almost correct". This is the IH Super BWD-6 tractor built at Doncaster IH plant in Yorkshire in the late 1950's.
Its basically a W-6 built with English made components, fitted with 4cyl indirect injection diesel engine (you could still buy it as a Super BW-6 with gas & TVO engine !).
The 3 point is FACTORY BUILT not a home made cobble-up! Cheers David

Is the tractor here in the states or is it for sale?

This engine is British built IH engine. Perkins did offer a diesel replacement engine for the gas-vapourising oil (TVO) engined W4, W6 & W9 tractors that came here under Lend-Lease in WW2.

Would that engine happen to be a Perkins?
