Try backing out the high speed screw on the carb.
Count the turns out, 1/2 turn at a time, so you can put it back if it dont help.....

Might be a good time to take the carb apart ....soak a day or two in lacker thinner ,blow out all passages and check needle and seat.....

Friend has a cub that does the same thing when first started then it evens out. The problem on his is in the carb but since it even out we don't worry about it. On yours its probably some junk in the carb causeing the problem. Try chokeing it and if that helps then you know for sure its the carb and it may need to be rebuilt.
