My B farmall starts great, runs great 99% of the time. The other 1% is it just plain quits with no warning, hit the starter starts right back up and runs great the rest of a 3 hr mowing afternoon. My guess is electrical, if it were gas related it would sputter and then choke it a touch to keep it going?....correct? How can I trouble shoot the electrical?

Well, I hate to get on the other side of a question with old, and I don't know anything about a B, but...fuel problems generally do have some kind of a sag or sputter or jerking as the engine starves for fuel. If it just quits, just like you turned the key or switch off, I'd guess something electrical losing contact for a moment, just enough to kill it, especially if it tends to quit at a low engine speed moment, when the engine doesn't have enough momentum to get it past the break in contact somewhere. But if this is a B idiosyncrasy, then I'm speaking out of turn.

Probably is a piece of something in the carb. BUT, you know 99 % really isn't that bad for a 60 year old tractor. Or a 60 year old anything for that matter.

More then likely its a problem in/with the carb. All it takes is a small piece of rust in the carb to cause that problem. Most of the time if its a problem with the Zap-U-Trons its either a go or no go thing and they either wrok or don't work not just once in a while
