Come to think of it, I think I still have some 8x10 glossies we got from the factory in response to some mechanical request...PR pix, including one of Amelia Earhart with a roadster, but I think they"re all Hudsons and Terraplanes. If I can find them, and any are Essex, I"ll post a new message. Now, all I have to do is remember which box they might be in...

As an old Hudson enthusiast, I recall the slang name for the Essex was the a$$aches, and the Terraplane was known as the Tearapieces. (36 Hudson 6 4-dr; 34 Terraplane 4dr, years ago). Good luck with your Essex.

Actually, what he has is a front axle for a 1923, springs, shackles, hubs/bearings, wheels (one pretty much rust, the other has good looking wooden spokes and a rotten tire). The hubs turn freely and smooth. Bottom line, is he wants it off his property. See posting below - gonna go there and post it in clssifieds. Thanks much all for info.
