Hi Gang;
photo showing the Ford-Ferguson 9N/2N that you all know & love (?) next to the English built Ferguson TE20 (tractor England). You got the the T0-20 (tractor overseas) version which has different engine & electrics (I believe). The first few thousand TE-20's were fitted with Continental engines imported until Ferguson could get the English built Standard Motor Company engine into production.
Note strange green tractor in background, its a Field Marshall single cylinder horizontal diesel engine tractor built in England - will get some photos for you in due course.
Cheers David

You gotta watch those British built Lucas electric systems! Aren't they made on the basis of a smoke cooled system, inside the wrappings? I've heard, if ya puncture the wrappings, and let the smoke come out, yer in fer big trouble! It seems getting the smoke back into the wrappings is the biggest problem, so be very careful when working on Lucas electrical systems! Rustyj

Picture shows the dog leg of the hood with the fastening bolt in the bottom side so it would be a 2N of 42-47

David I had a friend that had a Field Marshall, now I love the 2 cyl john deere sound but you all got to hear that 1 cyl Marshall under load, really a impressive sound of it's own and one you won't forget. Them 12 gage shotgun shells can get very expenive getting her started tho if now tuned just so. David did that one have the 2 man crank for it.should crank from the left side.?

David; Great photo. I look forward to the picture of the Field Marshall. Always interesting to see a rare (to me) old iron. Off Topic, I just watched the movie "Babe" (my 3 year old Grandson loves it)which is pictured in England I think. Anyway, I wonder what the truck is in the movie? Just if you have ever seen it. I am sure Babe (the one with the talking pig) was filmed in Australia.
