Hi Gang;
We moved to southwest Wales on 4th August, the place is Dinas right on the coast near Fishguard which is a small port (boats sail to Ireland).
Its a narrow coastal plain, dairy & beef & sheep farming; small family farms.
This photo is Dinas Island (actually connected to the mainland by a marshy strip of land). View looking north (towards Ireland). We live in the small village halfway up on left side of photo, about 0.5 miles off the sea.

It is a spot on nice place and right near Newport and Llanychaer so you can do your grocery shopping nearby. Cheers!

Love it David,what a view, glad your move went OK, but sure missed our daily farm history picture lessons. Now why do you suppose my Dad's family left there in the teens or 20's to settle in Nebr. In fact there were 5 Jones families that all came from Wales and setteled in the same are and non of them were related.
Thanks for letting me see what the looked like country they left.

Thats cool!!! I have a friend who lives in Mold Wales in the northern part who send me pictures from time to time. hah now I know folks on both ends of the country :)
