Local farmer won the lottery and was interviewed on the Kansas City TV news station. When asked what he was going to do with all that money he replied "guess I'll keep on farmin' till it's all gone". Aint that the truth

When my Dad retired from his day job, everyone said "Oh, now you can farm full time" His Reply.. "Without that regular paycheck, I do not know if I can afford to farm"

Here in east central Wisconsin 100 workers in a cheese packaging plant pooled their money and bought Power Ball tickets. They won 209.8 million last saturday. 95.8 if they take full payment option instead of the annuity. Some $600,000 after taxes. Kind of helps the retirement fund. They all went to work on monday and so far no one plans on quiting.

Not a bad weekend.

An old joke; one I have told many times. Too bad how close to true it is.

I don't play the lottery. The odds are just too bad. But then I am not much of a gambler....
