Hello,
We are interested in moving a tractor from the Minneapolis Minnesota area to San Diego CA. We've contacted many people on this site, but no luck yet. Can anyone recommend a hauling company for us to call? Or individual that may be interested? The tractor is 2500#'s, approx 9' long, restored and running. The tractor is on ebay and it ends in a day or two, so we need to find arrangement soon. Let us know! Kurt and Carolyn

The Mickow Corp. TMC of Des Moines Ia. runs the entire U.S. pretty much and is a flat bed predominant co.I know they run Minn and I see them hauling Smelter fresh Copper Coils from Phelps Dodge Copper Mine at Bagdad Ariz. to where I do not know. Point is they are here relativly close to San Diego so maybe some arangements can be made to get your Minn. Tractor delivered to S. Cal.

Hello,
You can call this fella named Larry. He is out of NY / NJ but travels the US. He was reasonable hauling a Mack tractor from NJ to South Mississippi. He has a huge truck / trailer, but would probably make it part of another load. It is a hydraulic landoll trailer. Nice set up. I have his card in my truck if you want his full name / company.

I think you can get a quote through the link below and see what it would cost. I don't know what freight class a tractor falls in...maybe 150???

No problem pulling a tractor that size on a U haul car hauler.... behind the moving van or pickup truck....
U haul will want to know what you are hauling...if you say tractor they go ape and rent you a way to heavy trailer than you need....tell them a ford F-150 pickup truck....if the tractor is a row crop you will need a sold bed trailer....you can place other items under the tractor....

The only way you will get that done for less than the tractor is worth is to find a carrier that will include your tractor as a part of a much larger load. Guess I'm not much help.

Try Larry Koster, Koster Trucking, Cresco, IA. (sorry, I don't have a phone number)He hauls Featherlite trailers out there and may have some room.
