Climp up on a chest type freezer and then carry off an ice cream bucket half full of cat food. One of those gallion type bucket that you get ice cream in now days. Wife came in from turning out the animals this morning and said the bucket with the food for the barn cats was gone and she can't find it any where.
Thanks

My possum from last nite finally made it into some shade so the PITA folks won't be after me. I'll transfer it to their backyard tonite....
Kinda like those Havahearts but it takes awhile to train the cats to not go in....

I had racoons pick up,drag, and empty a half-full plastic 2 gallon bucket of dry cat food about 25 feet across the gravel floor in the polebarn. (Only once... caught "em in the act the second time...got a hole in the siding where the slug went all the way thru the "coon and the siding to prove it.) By the way, it pays to check what you had in the chamber the last time you had the shotgun out. I"ll know enough to check next time before I shoot!!! It"ll save time patching siding.

That one is always loaded and locked in the steel cabinet. Takes two different keys to open. Just thought I had #6 load in it instead of a slug.

Nope not where this happened, its in my tack house where I have saddles and also the horses are to close. Saddles and horses cost to much to be shooting close to them LOL

Sounds like one of your pet racoons to me, or a bear. Bob

Not if you dig a deep hole and keep your mouth shut.

Very true but if it was a bear and I knew it was I would call conservation and I know they would love to come help me out, bears in this area are few and far between and they love to catch them, tag them and let the go again so they can keep track of where they are going. Also if I did shot one it wouldn't end up in a hole but in a freezer I here there pretty good eating LOL
