I have a 80 ford F 350 I use to pull my trailer. Today I was driving and the truck just stopped, like someone turned the key off. I found the large wire from the solenoid that feeds the wire loom was burned in two. I spliced it together and I had power to the starter again, but the motor will not start. The electric module mounted on the wheel well started smoking big time, unhooked the bat. I got a tow home no time to look at it, will tackel it today. What do you think caused the module to fry? Stan
