friday i was out checking on the field corn. the japanese beetles are eating all the silk off the ears. will they continue on the ears or is that all they are after? i been spraying all the fruit trees and vegetables with liquid sevin and that seems to keep them off. also sprayed the sweet corn. i put out some sent traps and connected them to 30 gallon plastic drums. they were half full in two days. any body else having problems with them? i am near dwight illinois. thanks glenn

I would like more info on scent traps? how you made them and what you used for scent? we get the beatles here in michigan in october time frame and there a mess they cover the houses and get into everything and you spend all winter killing the damn things. I would love to make some scent traps to set up around the yard to try and stop them from getting into the house.
please give that info on scent traps.

chad, for the ladybugs go to your local farm servise store and get a bottle of tempest. you mix on teaspoon per gallon of water and you can spray it around the outside of the house. a little goes a long way.
