WE GOT RAIN! "bout frickin time.. feild was getter REAL dry.. and after that clay gets dry it gets hard as a rock.. no good for the alfalfa.. but I think we got around 2 inches and it is STILL raining.. got the hay up just in time I think ;-) I"ll send it west after it"s done.. if there is any rain left in the ol" clouds.. lol

That's good you got some rain there. We are always ready for some more too. Just spotted popcorn showers in the area yesterday and lately and if you aren't under one too bad. Did have 2.5" for June but nothing to measure yet this month. We finally went from brown to green but it doesn't rain more soon the grass will be brown again.

We have been so dry for so long,now we've gotten over 5 inches in the last week..2.5 inches in about an hour on the 4th,that one did little good,most of it ran off.. Had about 50 acres of hay on the ground when this last one caught us by surprise..figures.. hope it dries soon,cause we were just now trying to get our first cutting..

Nope, not even close. According to land view the co-ordinates should be right on my machine shop, only building there. UTM used by county (clearwater) is 331,484 x 5,245,383. That would be the NE Corner. Use mapquest and look for Alida (3 miles south to farm) MN or Lake Itasca 7miles north to the farm.
