A friend recently fired up an inherited Model A-styled (circa 1952, SN 703267). He will be ordering manuals, but in the meantime can anyone tell me where the dipstick and oilfill tube are hiding?

The oil fill location is just above the clutch pulley. It is a pipe cap, about 1.5 inch diameter.
Your tractor will require 12 quarts of oil if you change the filter.

Should be a standpipe/cap up on the top to fill; check cock down on the lower right hand side to check.

There is no "dip stick" as such.

Yep,like Allan says,it's tucked behind the front edge of the flywheel..open the check a couple turns and filler up till oil drips out..

Not on a 52, on 34-38 yes but with the cover for the starter ring gear they were moved to the pully side under the pully
