Gotta love this hobby as you have to be amazed at some of the things you run into. Got this Ariens S14 given to me from a friend who had it given to him and he need to get rid of it due to time/space constraints. So I figured get to save another peice of equipment. OK, got started found that it had more wiring splices than wire and finally gave up on it and rewired it as I could not figure out what wiring diagram it could have possibly been wired to. Went ahead and changed points, plug and so on. Point burnt beyond recognition. Drain gas tank more water than you could imagine, put in fresh fuel and in line filter because there has to be more junk to come out of the tank and try to fire her up. Fuel pump will not draw fuel from the tank, find that the halves were not tight and upon tearing it apart found it was full of stuff (I mean everything) cleaned it up and got it to fire up. No rod knock, hydro works. Figure we are on the up side. Now to fix the flats. The rears were full of CaCl so I know that there will be some work here. Anyways, broke the bead and CaCl starts running everywhere. No tube in the tires and a regular tire valve, what a mess. I would have liked to met the character that owned this.

This is certainly an interesting hobby if for no other reason you run into interesting things.
