David and Roy,

Must be the smell of old tractors that inoculates you against the stupid football game. I missed it too. Waste of good ploughing time!

Thought it was my computor that was loosing the pics.

Here is one of the petrol Dexta at Marlbrooke last year.

Yes give me 20 acres of ploughing, or baling any day of the week.
From Yahoo news:- "There was minor trouble in the town afterwards with 105 English fans detained for various matters including drunken and aggressive behaviour. A total of 224 people were held.
The worst incident at home was on Jersey where police in riot gear arrested more than 25 people for public order offences in a Portuguese area of the island" Did you by any slim chance get off your Dexta and beat up the guy in the next plot because he was using a David Brown, IH or a Fergie? I think not.
A spray rep. that used to visit our farm once remarked about football hooligans "They should spray them with Metasystox!" To those unfamiliar with that product, it was an aphicide, the most most vile spray chemical known to man, I think it has been banned actually.

Me too David, I hate football! any excuse for getting drunk, that's what it has become over here, its pathetic. I read the other day that after the England /Paraguay game the ambulance service had TWICE as many call outs as usual because of drunken idiots/fights etc.Maybe it was the same last night with all the saddos crying into their beers. I suppose we will be seeing cars displaying plastic England flags at half mast now!
I can see your tractor pics. by the way, brilliant!

Guess you'll be drowning your sorrows in a pint or two tonight David. Too bad, all those matches seem so close it's a shame that someone has to be out of the running. I think that call on Looney Rooney was a bit harsh BUT because of his stupidity, he's a marked man and is going to have to live with those calls until he grows up. Just my two cents (worth slightly less than 2 cents US).

A lot of the players are immature, a heck of a lot of the fans are too! We have even known German cars to be vandalised in the streets after a football game with Germany. The above flag I found is,of course, a spoof, but some might be just stupid enough to do that!
