Old, you gotta luv it. The tractor's working but the camera is not. In my case I'm always glad to have at least one of them working.

Is it on steel or rubber?

Its on steel even has the same one on it as where on it when new and as far as I know the lugs on the wheels are also the same ones that where on it when it was new. I can't be sure on the lugs but I don't remember my grandfather ever saying he had replaced them. I think the rings are also the same one as what was put in back in 35. Theres a picture of it in my web site

the keep it simple stupis (KISS) syndrome is alive and well - that is why almost anything i buy will be simple, straightforward, etc

computer stuff is OK (I build and fix computers sometimes) but they shouldn"t charge over $20 for brains to a pickup or controller on a tractor - computers don"t cost hardly anything

i always have said technology is good - but only if it is cheap

but i am ranting

I want to the tractor show at Fredericksburg, TX on June 10 and was amazed as always how people with relitively little education (compared to engineers today) of yesteryear could design a tractor that would start with half a crank and do it"s job for years with few repairs and still run all these years later. Makes me feel old, too.

Ya gotta remember that back then an engineer was worth having around. Now days most of them aren't worth the paper thier diploma is written on.

Ya they don't make things like they did way back in 1935. Shoot my grandfather made a liveing farming with this old tractor and now I use it but not as much as my other tractors, but I do use it a little and I also take it to a show or 2 now and then. Neat thing also is that I have the owners manual that came with the tractor when it was new, its seen better days the pages are yellow and the cover is gone but shoot I think its still in pretty good condidtion if you think about how old it is. You can see a picture of it in the web site by the way
