can anybody tell me the diffrence and how to tell the diffrence between a John Deere 720 and 730?

I have owned both and there is no difference in performance...but the 720 looks BETTER...and they should be slightly cheaper!

The only real difference is in the styling. The 730 has a more rounded, streamlined hood and the steering rod is not exposed, putting the wheel at a different angle. The paint scheme is different too. 730s have the yellow extending to the bottom of the hiid, while the 720 has yellow between the green. Look at the serial number plate. Most 730s had the float ride seat and many had fender,too. But they are the same basic tractor.
