HI! My husband recently brought home an old tractor and we cannot figure out what kind it is. It has no name because the paint is all gone. It is a Steel wheel tractor with one tire on the front. From a book I have on tractors it looks to maybe be an old Allis Chambers but that is only because Allis Chambers is the only one I can find with both steel wheels and only one front tire. Any help placing it would be appreciated. IF anyone knows where I can view some more pics in this line I think I could place it. If he does not find out soon I am going to haul it to the junkyard while he"s at work.

OK It is an old AC somewhere around a 32-37 I am going to post a pic this evening. We have an Old 59? (I think) Super A Farmall that my hubby got from his grandfather and that is enough for his plate since he"s been working on that one for about 5 years now. It runs but boy does it take alot of work not to mention upper body strength to turn. Hubby"s pride was to plow the garden with it for the first time this summer though. hee hee I get out of plowing this year at least. Will post the pic after it quits raining Thanks for your help!

Can you post some pictures? I bet someone can identify it . dont take it to the junk yard, someone will take it off your hands for parts or restoring. Norv

The early Oliver 18-27 Rowcrop tractors also only had one steel wheel in front. Also the early F-12 farmal tractors. How about a picture or a more detailed description/ Also the Cletrac Generals and the Later B. F> Avery only had a single front wheel, but steel wheels were not listed for the rear wheels. J.
