Well I think I'm on the downhill side of first cutting. Tonnage isn't bad, and not much rain on any of it. Thought I'd pass along some photos.

Dave, what are thoses 100 lbs bales? Good looking hay.

Not to many make the small bales here anymore, most have gone to the 1 ton square bales. And even doing the half bales,1000 pounders.

Thats incredible.Do you leave the bales out there all night long? How many bales is that? One more question,in the pic where your bales are laying on the ground, they look like they are offset in the rows, was that two windrows close together?

I put 300 in the barn today and will have about 500 more tomorrow.

That hay sat overnight, most of mine does. I've seen people get behind and leave hay in the field for over a week. When there isn't any rain and low humidity you can do that. The balewagon will hold 160 bales. The bales are close together because of the way the balers are set up. I windrow everything in 16' windrows then drive up one windrow down the other when baling. With the baler being offset(Deere 348 balers) and the 1/4 turn bale chute it leaves the bales in rows a couple feet apart.
