Haven't lost a dual J-bolt in over thirty years since I came up with this idea. Rings are cut from old springs. Also use the rings to route hydraulic hoses.

Like they say, an ounce of prevention-- What sort of spring did the rings come off of? I could use a new hose guide/keeper on a couple implemnts. Bob

Lost a couple J-bolts many years ago- had only one come loose since, and it stayed with the tractor. Springs are from a field cultivator- one yields many perfect circle rings. Hard to make them by hand. I used to torch the spring lengthwise, but now cut them with a chopsaw.

Is that some sort of John Deere you have there? Don't think you painted Allis wheels yellow because they don't look like Allis to me. Maybe a D19 though.

This one's a JD 4240- grew up on AC, farm mostly with JD, but still have both.
