Hello,

I'm in need for wisdom and advice. A few weeks ago before mothers day I was sweet talking my wife to let me go out of town to pick up a couple of WD-9's. In my pathetic attempt of talking my way to leaving town and leaving her and my two kids and one unborn kid at home I unknowingly made a fatal mistake. You see I told her she could have one of them for mothers day.

Well a few weeks have passed and it has finally dawned on me that if my pregnant wife leaves me and runs off with my kids SHE MAY TAKE THE WD-9 WITH HER. What a fool I was for giving in to her. She has taken my passion and love of tractors and used it against me without me even catching on.

I haven't let her know the power she now has over me. I'm afraid where this may lead. I can only hear the future threats she will make if I show my weakness. I need a way out. Should I start bad mouthing the WD-9 in front of her? Boy I wish I never bought that boat anchor. Do you think that may work? Should I tell her we should sell it to buy baby clothes? No wait she may call my bluff! I know, I'll list it on e-bay with too high of a reserve and when it doesn't sell I'll tell her there must be something wrong with it. No wait if someone does bid I'll have to refuse to sell and ruin my perfect feedback! Should I leave it out one night and say it was stolen! (store it at my Dads) HELP HELP what can I do???

Mark

When your wife leaves you and takes a WD 9 or two, let me know where she goes, I could use one. (WD 9's not stray wives), although I suppose i could find a use for both.

i guess you haven't been thru a divorce yet--she will take a lot more than 1 wd 9---probably get both wd 9's, any other things near & dear to your heart, and get big alamoiny [sp] settlement, & child support thru the gazoo---your tractor collectin' days may be over!!!---good luck & just try to make her happy with more tractors--- btdt

I don't know how bright she is but you might be able to convince her to trade you a WD-9 for WD-40. You can tell her it has more usefulness and is much newer.

You don't need to be stronger, only smarter.

Well I've found that the single life isn't bad . Let her go now while you only loose one tractor . Everytime I mentioned getting an old tractor she gave me the altimatum . So I missed out on some good deals . Well I finally pulled her bluff & bought an old Ford tractor . She left like she said . But I sure enjoy my tractor . Ken

Another advantage old tractors have over wives is that you can leave them unattended in the shed for weeks at a time and not have to worry about them leaving you for it.
