I CAN PURCHASE A FULLY MECHANICALLY RESTORED AND PAINTED 1971 FORD 2000 GAS TRACTOR FOR $5,800. IS THIS A GOOD PRICE???

Depends on the quality and thoroughness of the "restoration". If they really did a complete mechanical overhaul-engine, clutch, trans, etc with the documentation and reciepts, and a factory quality paint job, and the tractor has a lot of factory options and is relatively low houred (this is hard to prove), then that is not a terrible price, but if they only threw in a carb kit, a cap and some plugs and slapped on some spray paint, then that price is a taste high. A lot of people wouldn't want to spend that much money on a gasser that they were going to use every day. Just my $0.02. check Fastline and other machinery sales sites and references to see what tractors like that are going for.
