Hello All,
I have recently purchased a Huskee GT series, 18.5 HP B&S Twin I/C, 46" cut rider. The problem is that I don't know what model or year. I am really happy with this tractor as it mows really well. It has no I.D. plate anywhere. The most unique feature is its 2-speed transaxle. It has 7 forward speeds in high range and 7 forward speeds in low range as well as reverse. I have recently fabricated a trailer hitch assembly to pull a boat that I am remodeling to and from my work shop. Any help identifying this tractor would be greatly appreciated.

If there are no ID plates on it then it was probably stolen sometime.
Good luck

Newer lawn stuff like that has a foil plate stuck on, and has printing that fades or washes off. Really not to uncommon not to have a plate, at least a plate that you can read!

Look under the seat of the tractor, there should be a model number on the seat, then go to the MTD website and parts area, type in the number and it should bring up the vintage ect...

Have you emailed the friendly folks at TSC? I'm pretty sure husky is a TSC brand name, and while I'm not 100% certain on this, I think they were built by MTD who is now owned by Murray..... ..
