I would like to use my super a to mow praire grass and weeds pulling a 4 or 5 foot rotary mower, e.g. King Kutter PTO driven rotary. I would guess the super a has about 20 HP? Does anyone know the actual HP of a super a and is it enough for this type of mower?
Have any of you done this successfully?
Thanks. kriesel

I have a mid 40's A with 13hp to 17hp peak!!!!! it pulls a 4 ft king cutter with no prob. as long as it's not 4 ft high! I propagate the rabbits so I do not mow till I see the little bunnies are big enough to run from the cutter! some yrs is no prob. other yrs it's only a half cut while mowing!! IE:twice the time and the fuel)fortunately I only mow a few acres!!!!! I am from PA,so I do'nt know how pairie grass compares to timothy and alphala!!!!!
