Aw heck,

Been home for hours. Been out there tinkerin' on the old monster. :>) This one is exactly like the one that sold on my farm sale in '83.

Darned rake is nothing to write home about tho, but at least this one is functional. Oh, and that story about "all new teeth" was kind of a fabrication. Silly thing has both lefts and rights on it. But, anyway it will work for this year.

Say, that "trailerin'" is kind of fun. Put the darned cruise control on 68 and just zipped down the highway. Powerstroke kind of just "floats down the road" at anything above 65 mph. :>)

Allen,
Looks like you finally got one to match those nice tractors of yours. I know you couldn't stand to be pulling something green behind those red tractors of yours. Looks good and best of luck with the rake. Raking is always nice and relaxing when you start baling, don't have to look behind you so often, just drive nice and straight lol.

Looks like he saved you the time of painting, even though the teeth are a bit worn.

I think that is what these yards do. Power wash in the morning, paint in the afternoon and sell the next day. :>)

Like I told him, if it will flip a windrow, that's all I ask of the old heifer.

Okay, gotta go "rearrange" some teeth. A couple of 'em are rubbin' the stays and that sound just drives me nuts! :>(

Well, it don't look bad with all that shiny new paint. Sure it's dry enough to be working on yet? :)

Oh Yeah,

It's light years ahead of what that old John Deere was.

Seems to be in pretty darned good shape, actually 'cept for the teeth; kind of a muckeldun throw-together assortment of left-throw, right-throw. So, some are bolted on the front of the bar, some on the rear. :>)

I'm going to see just how long those old original tires will run. :>)

Oh well just go get some teeth ordered from shoupparts or sloanex dot com. Those will be cheaper than those bearings were going to be.
