we currently pull two wd45's one at 4000lb and the other at 4500lb class. we have tons of power but can't get them to hook up on the track. drawbar height has to be at 17" per rules of the pull. drawbar can be in or out. any secrets on adjusting the drawbar to get these wd45's to hook up? is out better than in?

If you can run 38" tires that will get you better traction.
Those little 28" tires always were the downfall of the AC traction.
Now you hook to the snap coupler hitch on that AC and it will pull.
Friend ran 38" tires on a D17 and it made a huge difference.

Short is always best, I think you need to work on weight balance and tire pressure.. You can't keep the front down with a long drawbar...
