Hey buddy, I can't find your picture of it in the archives, on the proportioning valve for the live hydraulics, ya got an in, ok, then a CF or something and EX. I got the in part, tell me which one goes up to the Behlin steering motor, and then it exhausts back down into the resevoir doesn't it? And if so, does it make any difference on the steering motor which side is pressure and which is return? One side looks like it is bigger than the other one. Thanks, Harley

Hey Harley I'm not Allan, but I saved one of his photos on his flow control valve. CF is the Controled flow, goes to you power steering motor. EX is the excess flow which goes back to tractor hydraulic system...HTH

Hi Harley,

The "in" on the priority valve is pressure from the pump. "Ex" (exhaust) feeds the rest of your hydraulic system, then dumps to sump after or "via" the pressure control valve.

That other guy feeds your power steering motor at the "in" port and then it dumps thru the motor to sump separately from the other hydraulics.

Hope it makes sense,

Allan

I dunno what wrong with me.

Never took a picture in my life. In 1990, I bought a digital camera and the thing laid in a desk drawer for years.

Then, when I found this place, I'm takin' pictures like nobody's business. Think it's cause I don't know how to talk. :>)
