I have two tractors on our property, originally belonging to the previous landowner. Despite growing up and wandering around the old farmstead for years and years, I never asked what this one was (the other is a M-H 30).

Who can help?

See more pictures (of both tractors) here:

I like the mossy oak paint job. Looks pretty restorable to me, whatever it is.

Looks like a early Massey Harris 101 (junior) standard, built from 1939 to 1942.

I think that's it!! The only thing that looks a bit different is the front axle treatment, but maybe that's something that changed from year-to-year, or was a model variation.

Thanks for the quick response, guys!

I would *love* to restore the M-H 30, but I know *nothing* about tractors - I wouldn't know where to begin, where to source parts, what sort of costs I'd be dealing with, access to tools, etc.

The main reason, for right now at least, is space. I just don't have a place (i.e. spare garage) where I can park a tractor for a few years while I beaver away at it as time and budget allow.

It would be a funtastic project though; I really would love to do it.

At a minimum, I may try and pull the M-H 30 out and get it covered up. It's not in too bad shape, because it was in a covered barn for most of its parked life, until the last 3 or 4 years when the roof collapsed.

For the 101... well, that certainly looks to be far beyond what I could tackle.

I have got UK neighbors. They are pretty stuck on themselves too. They call the police when ever I hire someone to work on my property. They have allowed themselves to trim my hedge and take shrubbery out of my lawn when they don't like the view too. Good luck with your projects.
