I know, I know, Keep it tractor related-n well I do use the H to move the boat around the farm and in the shed, so there. Now my question is what are the ramifications in MN if I were to get out this weekend for some eye's with 05 registration on the boat? What with my place and turning over 400 acres for a neighbor, and county office hours I have not been able to get the registration done for the boat. Wife has made it pretty clear she wants to fish for mothers day and the DNR web site is down for online registering. A small fine would be better than letting down the wife, and with this weather I can really use the extra heat in the bedroom, you know what I'm talkin bout, but I dont wanna lose the boat or be made a specticle of at the launch.

In Michigan a boat without a motor doesn't need a tag.

Where you at Dave? I have a 16 foot open with no motor (son has it), and a 1785 Yarcraft. License for both are on the counter. Wife picked them up yesterday. Come on up to Bemidji. Bring the wife if she really wants to fish, or she could flower shop with mine. Bob

Dave,I'd get to another town where the lic.plate bureau is open ! The one closest to me in Mn. is open 'til noon on Sat.
A ticket is a sure thing especially this weekend !I believe not buying tabs here is a form of tax evasion(what a joke).
I'd go get 'em if you can, fine is over a hundred bucks ! ~brad

Maybe you can use my registration, I haven't put it on yet and the boat is still on the roof rafters in the barn.

Or if Golden Valley is more convienient you could use mine for the weekend. Just scotch tape it on.
I don't usually go fishing till the Bass opener - 2 weeks away.
