Used to have this problem with ours in the 50s
Ours was a side dist. Can you get the cap off and
open and close the points to see if there is a spark/juice at the points?

If you have recent rain that is probably a primary contributory cause.

check to make sure you are getting juice to the coil when the switch is on. Then check to see if juice is going from the coil to the distributor. Then it's ignition parts and plug and coil wires. I'm guessing a cruddy switch or wire connector feeding battery power to the coil.

new points, new coil, removed switch, straight wired, the coil is hot, points are set at .015, still no fire to plug wires, distributor cap has continuity(sp), 10.13 volts to coil,

Condenser maybe bad and or when you put the points in you got something shorted out in the distibutor, common problem when putting in new points.

When you say fire to the distubutor are you saying you have power to the coil, since that should be a front mount type?? Well if yes, has it rained in the last couple days and is it parked out side?/ If yes then check for woter in the distubutor, slipped points or maybe even a bad coil. You didn't by chance leave the key turned on did you, if so you fried the coil and maybe the points. Just a few things that could be wrong

Ah yes, I overlooked the year. The front mounted distributors are sensitive to moisture. I had a 9N and hated the distributor. It still works on the same principle though.

Thats another one of the problems with the front mounts its hard to make sure your getting spark from the coil since it doesn't have a coil wire like the later model 8Ns had. My self I love to hate front mount distributors
