Got a question about getting injectors rebuilt. My '95 Dodge cummins smokes a bit on start up but runs great after it warms up. I'm thinking the injectors may need rebuilt. What should I expect to pay for getting them rebuilt? I plan on taking them out my self and taking them to a diesel shop in town. I imagine I could save a little by pulling them myself, unless they need to test them in the motor for some reason. What have you guys paid to have injectors rebuilt?

If your going to remove then yourself remember not to try and twist them out as there is a locator pin built into the head and will be damaged if ya try and twist them out ya need the injector puller . Don't know about your area but a buddy of mine will do mine for 35 apice.
