Do you have a place that dips furniture? That is the easiest way of getting it done.Check your local yellow pages.

The last time I did any of this Ifound a citrus based remover that worked well and wasn't troxic. I don't remember the brand, I will check if I still have some left in the basement and get back later. Mike

Aloha, Don't know what's the best but be sure to neutralize the remover so it won't bleed thru and harm the baby and also, use a safe paint.

Im going to take all of the old paint off because im sure it has lead in it. You can be sure i will do whatever it takes so its safe for the baby.

If I recalled, I started to strip a chair of some sort and since it was lead base the fumes were terrible. I don't know if a respirator does the trick or what but it never got finished.

What ever you use be sure to give it a very good bath in TSP and Water Clean up.I would recommend a Citrus Base product for a baby bed. Stripeze is to severe and Toxic if a Child may chew on any part of the bed.Ask your supplier.
