I'm thinking of buying a utility vehicle to use on the farm. Any suggestions? We have quite a few hills on the property.

I have a Polaris Sportsman 500. I am amazed at is's towing power. We use it all the time. It is nice to "run the fences" in 5 minutes. Fun too.

We have recently had a Cub Cadet big country, a John Deere Gator 6x4 diesel, and a Kubota RTV900. The Kubota is by far the best of those three in my opinon. The Cub was pure junk. Cub bought it back from us after they couldn't keep it from getting gas in the engine oil. Gator is ok, not as good as the Kubota but ok.

Try a Trekker by Great Plains,Honda powered 4x4,cheaper than a Mule. My mom is 89 and drives hers around all summer.

I have a 2003 Kawasaki Mule that I found to be indespensible. Undoubtedly the Kubota and the Bobcat are top of the line, but also in the highest price range. There are many different models, so you need to choose based on your working needs and your local dealer. In 4 years I have not needed my dealer for any service, but he is there if I need him.

Have you heard anything about the new Cub Cadet 4x4 2006 model?

A few months ago, I saw an article in an outdoor magazine, and they rated the Yamaha Rhino the best for the money. I have several friends who have them and they are very satisfied.
