Well I put the dyno on the 2470 tonight Pretty disappointed in the results only 135hp and soo much black smoke I mean NTPA super farm pullers smoke LOL! looked pretty cool, I did put new fuel in it, got the 13 year old diesel out and was just running the inner air cleaner only, The engine was rebuilt approx 300 hr's ago, Im going to check the pump timing anything else to look for? If this tractor has been sitting for 13 years you need to check the air intake. Birds can make nests in the precleaner. If this is clean get a 3lm turbo to replace the old to4. this will give you much more air and will reduce the smoke. Set the fuel to get 210 horsepower and this engine will last a long time. There are 4 clutches in the powershift. First is C1 and C2 second is C1 and C3 third is C2 and C3 reverse is C2 and C4. C3 is the common clutch to second and third so your problem is in the C3 clutch circuit. You need a book or someone who knows these tractors. Stan

Hi, Stan I checked the precleaner today and it was packed with a mouse nest, I removed the precleaner and dynoed it again, 175hp and not much smoke, also dynoed the 7130 magnum 191hp, Thanks for the info,

Yep put the gauges to the turbo and ya may want to ween back the fuel as it may be flooding it's self or put a bigger hair dryer on it and bump the timming up then Katty Bar the door.

How much pressure should the turbo put out? And how do you turn the fuel back its a large bosch pump, I looked at it tonight and there is a factory wire seal cut so somebody messed with it. Have you worked an many Case 2470/2670's? this one has power shift problems no 2nd or 3rd,

I think you need to check the turbo and or the intake. I think you are not getting enough air. Something might be partly plugged up. Is the turbo turning? Check the air supply. Just my thoughts.
