Bought my uncles old 9N before he passed away. She runs good but the 3 point won't lift. Is there anything with the controls that would cause this? Hoping it's something simple before I tear into the pump housing.

Thanks, Bill

Bill, Is your PTO turned on? It is the little lever behind your left foot. For the 3 point to work the pto must be engaged. By the way to engage the pto you push the lever back with the clutch pushed down. They are a good old tractor.

When you say engaged do you mean engage the pump to the PTO shaft? Because the PTO shaft is turning now. I thought as long as the shaft was turning the pump was engaged.

Well I answered that last question myself. I couldn't shift the PTO so I removed the side cover and the lever was out of position and not engageing the PTO. I realigned and it shifts properly but still no Hydraulics. You can see a vary small amount of movement, maybe 1/8" at the large center spring. But if you blink you'll miss it.

There are world class experts on 9N hydraulics on the 9N,2N,8N board of this website and they rarely come over to this board.
