Mornin' Guys,

Today, I've got to take my old truck into the county seat and have it "inspected" by the sheriff 'cause it was bought out of state. Just more Nebraska red tape.

Anyway, the weatherman says the wind will blow with gusts to 60 mph today, so if I can get the old devil in there, will I just be able to turn it with the wind and "coast" her home? :>)

I guess it must be those darned greenhouse effects going on, 'er something. :>(

Allan

We had it rought here yesterday..lost a couple of window screens. Hope it lets up today. Since this is Colorado,I blame that guy in Why. for leaving his gate open. Can't our good buddies north of the border do something about it?

I think it is Wyoming Dave's fault.

You know how he is. Always drivin' those straight furrows with those JDs and the rest of us downstream have to pay the price. :>)

Sure feels like a normal spring, don't it?

I just get in from feeding and this is what I have to find? I could go for a little less wind myself. Doing some final touches on fields yesterday, sure glad I had a cab, and heat. Couldn't even plant grass yesterday, the wind would blow the seed away after it drops out of the box rather than going down the seed tube. Hopefully can get some done today.

Boy, I dunno Dave,

Trees are all pointing south down here. I think today is gonna be worse than yesterday according to the weatherman.

Besides, it wouldn't hurt you to rest a couple of days and let me catch up with ya. I've still got to pack 40 acres before I can even load the drill.

You've really got to have a little more compassion fer us less fortunate souls down here in Nebraska, I'm a thinkin'. :>)

Rest? You kidding? By the looks of it I won't be planting again. Now instead of sitting in a nice tractor cab I'm going to venture out into this wind and start getting pastures ready for spring turn out. Good luck with your trip to town.
