My Grandpa bought this tractor 6 years ago... We just now are getting it fixed up for him! He would like to know how much it's worth. It's an Alis Chalmers 1952 WD45 ...

WD45 was produced from 1953-1957, starting with serial number WD146007. That is the number on the left rear vertical face of the differential. Not an engine number. Here, typical unrestored WD45 with decent rubber usually goes about $1500-2000. Rough looking about 1100, really sharp unrestored about 2500.

Thanks for all the replys... I heard they were worth a lot and my Grandpa was just curios. He probably will never sell it though... He loves to collect old tractors! Thanks again, Stephanie

Well with out more info I can only guess. I've seen them sell for as little as $500 and they ran up to $3500 if restored. And maybe more. Take a look at the web site it has a couple WDs and WD-45 there.
