JD A Tranny Fluid Capacity and where do you put it

I have a 1952 A, Where do you put the tranmission oil in, and how much? Sorry Im new to this hobby.

Yep 7 gallons mineral oil. Newer stuff may leak out faster. Fill plug is lower than you expect on the back below powrtrol. To me didn't seem like 7 gals fit down that low but it does..

Trans oil capacity should be 27 quarts just shy of 7 gallons. Should be a filler plug on trans cover top.
