Wisconsin head gasket

So you're probably thinking about an air cooled Wisconsin, well this is a water cooled four cylinder 1920's version used in a fire truck and the head gasket is blown. Anybody know where we can start the search for a gasket? The name BROCKWAY is on the valve cover but that's probably the name of the manufacturer of the truck. Is there a website out there somewhere that could shed some light on this? Thanks, Jim

How big of a gasket are we talking about? Can't go out and buy some gasket material and trace the old one and cut the new one out?

Try these two places or more links at their sites: www.olsonsgaskets.com OR www.bestgasket.com

Thanks, Glen,I found the sites and will check them out in the morn. We have a gasket maker in a town here locally but I think they only do commercial orders. I talked to one of their guys about making a gasket awhile ago and he said they would do it and then a few days later he sounded like it would be too much bother to tool up for it. Well, gotta get some sleep so I can be perky tomorrow. Jim

Jim, We have a gasket maker in our area too but most times like you said it's too expensive for them to tool up to cut just one. Some places can cut custom copper head gaskets also.
