Got the ignition fixed. Thanks alot for all the help. Got it running today after a year and 1/2 of sitting. Lifters are noisy. I was thinking of putting of putting a quart of diesel in the oil and running for 20 minutes to clean it out. Anybody no anything better. Thanks. Pat.

Rislone works real good too. Dump a quart in it, run it up to operating temp then shut it down and let it set overnight. Start it up the next day and run it up to temp then drain it. The new oil will get muddy quick too. after a couple short interval oil changes, the oil starts staying pretty claen.

I'd use Marvel Mystery Oil instead. I've been using it for over 30 years & it is really good for what you want to do.
