Lost a plow point like that once - we borrowed a metal detector and stomped through the fresh dirt like a little kid til we found it....

Best way to find that nut and washer is to go buy a new one and about the next day you will find the old one.
Works every time.LOL

Take a 8' 2x4 and a bunch of magnets dragging behind on wires....making a drag...go over it slowly.....good chance you'l find them..... ....
