My Dad and his cousin were pardners in a custom baling busness in the 40's and early 50's they had a 50T IHC baler and a David Bradley and a IHC rake. The David Bradley would rake circles around the IHC.

I have a 1947 model(year is on the serial plate)in perfect working condition.Paint is a bit thin on it,but I really like the job it still does.I think I gave $200 for it about 25 years ago.

David, I bought a David Bradley rake on rubber 7 years ago for $75.00. Still use it for 3 or 4 cuttings of alfalfa on 3 acres each year. I havent seen another one in this part of the country.

We bought a Coop side delivery rake new about 1950, it is still at the farm, complete and has not been used in over 30 years. To me it appeared to be exactly like the David Bradley except for the paint. These would be of little use now because of the improved design of the later ones. They would have scrape value and some parts like the ground drive, might be used on later stuff. In my book they ain’t no treasure but don't turn it down if it is free.
