Hmmm,

Opened the door this morning, 3" of snow and coming down hard with high winds.

As I recall, we refer to this as a "blizzard". Oh well, guess it is just Nebraska in the "normal" mode. :>)

Red Flag alert in SC. Breezy today, won't call it windy because you guys in the Great Plains will laugh at me. Temp about 80. Put down fertilizer today. Now I have to pay for it. Oh yeah, plowed garden and would have planted corn but ran out of time.

Maybe a higher power issuing a mild repremand for sinning with a greenie. And you were contempting tom catting as a comparison..... ....shame on you!!!!! . After all the helpful (and the not so helpful) suggestions we all have given you, you go and get to run a greenie; just how do you think the 686 and 966 feel? Probably broken oil pumped. I HUMBLY suggest that you take this as a stern warning, and that you govern yourself in accordance!!!!!....QR..

No complaints here in Mississippi. We just had a little ole storm last August called Katrina but its warm and sunny now. Come on down and bring your tractors and loaders. Man, I couldn't stand that cold weather you guys have. I prefer the hot weather myself.

Not one drop of moisture here-yet. Lots of wind. Travil I-76 at you own risk. Big warnings for very NE corner of Co. Supposed to be over tomorrow.

Started raining real hard here at 9 last night and hasn't stopped. Turned to snow at about 3am this morning.

So, decided to move some haystacks today instead, but guess that is out now too.

Is this the gobal warming I'm hearin' so much about? :>)

Is this rain what you wanted on your freshly worked field? Did you finish working the ground? Stan

Allan

I've heard that global warming calls for warmer summers, colder and warmer winters and stronger storms. The message usually ends with the warning that more study is needed(read more research money is needed to keep the "expert" employed).

Mornin Allan....could be worse! We're so wet here in SE Iowa, I opened the machine shed doors this AM and a flock of Duck's had taken shelter in it. Looks like very little releif in sight for a couple day. Anyone got any duck food?

Must be blessed and so nice for all of you to have so much moisture to whine about when others are very dry waking up to red flag fire and wind warnings everyday :P

Just wind and dust here in the south of NM.
I think they call it the windy season.

NWS guy at weather spotters training the other night said it was La Nina's fault? He said our severe weather was turning out to be the fire danger this year and no change in weather pattern expected till this fall. Not going to a fun summer unless they are wrong. Wind and dirt blowing here again too just 3 miles east of your E NM & TX state lines. Not like yesterday's 60 mph stuff though. Just that cool north wind from Allen's area.
